中職越來越好 桃猿簽波拉斯

近年中華職棒洋將水準愈來愈高，也成為的大聯盟球員在海外找工作的管道之一，根據《福斯運動網》記者摩洛西(Jon Paul Morosi)在推特上指出，待過金鶯隊、藍鳥隊與海盜隊的左投Brian Burres將加盟Lamigo桃猿，《NBC Sports》更指出，他若能因此投回球感而重回大聯盟，將是趟值得的旅程。

國外網站消息傳開，桃猿隊也證實確有此事，並將Brian Burres取名為「波拉斯」。波拉斯現年31歲，生涯出賽106場有56場先發，共獲得18勝25敗，防禦率5.75；去年一整年在巨人隊3A出賽，出賽19場皆先發，戰績5勝4敗，防禦率5.40。

《NBC Sports》提到，波拉斯至今在大聯盟仍未完全成功，而且還很年輕，能夠在某一天再次回到大聯盟投球。因此，這次效力於桃猿，可能是趟值得的旅程。

過去曾有多位洋將在台灣投球，並且成功回到大聯盟的案例，2007年右投費古洛(Nelson Figueroa)短暫加盟統一7-11獅，並幫助球隊拿下總冠軍，回到美國，08年成功重回大聯盟，並多投了13勝，比他離開大聯盟前的7勝還要多。

最近一次的成功案例是天使隊右投威廉(Jerome Williams)，他在2010年同樣加盟獅隊，投完一季後沒有續留，回到美國加入天使隊，2011年8月22日成功重回大聯盟投手丘，對金鶯隊拿下勝投。他重返大聯盟後不但多投10勝，還曾進入天使隊固定輪值。
