納達爾今復出 智利總統相迎

11座四大賽冠軍得主納達爾以今日ATP250積分的智利VTR公開賽雙打首輪賽事，做為睽違賽場7個月的復出首戰。他說：「現在我的身體狀況不比去年身體沒問題時，我必須更有耐心，一場一場找回節奏。」

納達爾居單打第1種子首輪輪空，今日先與阿根廷的莫納柯搭檔雙打首輪來暖暖身手。舊疾膝傷一直困擾著納達爾，因而在整整缺席職網7個月後，他的世界排名退到8年來首度離開前4的第5名。

VTR賽一向少有人注目，而拜納達爾之賜，該賽竟成了焦點賽事，國際媒體來了，票房也隨之翻紅。喜出望外的還包括智利政府，智利總統皮涅拉甚至在納達爾抵達智利時，親自出面迎接。
